For drivers planning a route through Serbia

Accommodation near the E75 motorway, close to Belgrade

When you drive the E75 (signposted A1 inside Serbia), the question is not only where there is a free bed, but how much time a detour costs you. Yellow House is a whole 60 m² ground-floor apartment in Ritopek, roughly 15 minutes from the motorway, with parking inside the yard and none of the city-centre traffic or paid garages.

Yellow House in Ritopek with private parking in the yard

Why it works for a stopover

  • Free private parking inside a fenced yard — the car stays next to the house, not on the street.
  • Late arrival by arrangement, also after midnight, if you let us know.
  • The whole apartment for up to 5 guests — one car, one booking, no split rooms.
  • Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a private kitchen and bathroom — useful when you arrive late and want to prepare your own food.

Where exactly you leave the motorway

Ritopek is a village on the right bank of the Danube, on the eastern edge of Belgrade towards Grocka. Whether you come from the north (Horgos, Novi Sad) or from the south (Presevo, Nis), you leave the A1/E75 on the Belgrade side and continue for roughly 15 minutes on local roads towards Ritopek.

Set your navigation to the exact address, 8. oktobra 17, 11353 Ritopek — not just the village name — and follow it from the point where you leave the motorway.

When it makes sense to stop here

A motorway stop is convenient, but staying a short drive away can offer more space, private parking and a quieter night before continuing your journey. After eight hours of driving, many guests prefer to leave the car behind a gate and set off in the morning without waiting at a reception desk.

A rule of thumb our guests use: entering Serbia at Horgos after 2 pm makes Belgrade a sensible end to the day. Entering in the morning, you will probably get further south.

What the apartment includes

You rent the entire ground floor of the house, with its own entrance. Nothing is shared with the owners or with other guests.

  • 60 m², five beds, air conditioning and heating

Frequently asked questions about stopping along the E75

How far is Yellow House from the E75 motorway?

About a 15-minute drive from the A1/E75 on the eastern side of Belgrade. The last stretch runs on local roads towards Ritopek, so the simplest approach is to enter the exact address, 8. oktobra 17, 11353 Ritopek, into your navigation and follow it from the motorway.

Where do I park the car or van?

Inside the fenced yard, behind the gate. Parking is free, off-street and never charged separately. For a larger van or a trailer, message us first so we can check the space.

Can I stop just to sleep and drive on in the morning?

Yes. There is no minimum stay — most of our guests are in transit through Serbia and book exactly one night.

Should I stop near Belgrade or push on to Nis?

If you enter Serbia at Horgos in the afternoon, Belgrade is the natural halfway point — Nis is another two hours, usually in the dark. Stopping here means you continue south rested in the morning.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, pets are welcome. The yard is fenced, so your dog can stretch its legs before you get back on the road.
